Pharmacy

The nearest pharmacy is in Villamagna (15 minutes) and is signposted from the SP15.

The nearest hospital is Ospedale Santa Maria Maddalena (circa 20 minutes).

In the event of an emergency, please call 112.

Electrics

As you will appreciate, the house is centuries old, and was not constructed with modern living in mind. Consequently, it is not unusual for a fuse to blow when multiple aircon units, hairdryers dishwashers etc are in use. In the event this should happen, the main fuseboard is in the pantry. Should you be unable to resolve the issue, please call Convivum, whose details are on this page.

Neighbours

The property next door is a working farm, with dogs, sheep and other animals. The dogs are very friendly and may well greet you on arrival at our gates. As the area has wild boar (Cinghale which is a favourite on the local menus) their bark is a useful deterrent!

Glasses Cabinet

The cabinet containing glasses has a handle which looks as though you turn it to open it. You don't! Please just give the right hand door a hard pull and the door will open (it is magnetic).

Leaving the House

Please do shut all the windows and doors when you leave the house. Firstly, if it is hot, then it will be a lot hotter when you return. Secondly, birds may fly into the house from time to time.

Wood Fired Pizza Oven

If you want to use the pizza oven, it's best to light it at least two hours beforehand so it is hot enough. If you require wood, please contact Convivum who can arrange it for you.

Gas fired Barbecue

In order to start the gas bbq, you will need to turn on the gas before igniting. The gas bottle is on the left hand side of the BBQ.

Please remember to turn off the gas when you turn off the Barbecue.

Food Waste

There are recycling bins for different types of waste in the lavanderia. You will need to drive these down to the bins near the start of the drive as and when they are filling up. There is a seperate food waste bin but the food waste is thrown away in the general waste bin.
